You can remove a license that is no longer needed for a product or feature. These instructions will remove the license from License Manager on the selected node and from the list shown on the License Summary window.
Removing a license from a node may affect more than one instance of a product on that node. Other products or features that use the same license may stop working.
Do the following:
Ensure that the product associated with the license is stopped.
Select the Home folder in the navigation area.
From the Home page, select License Summary from the global action menu on the Portal Connections portlet.
Each row listed on the License Summary window is a license on a specific host node. Select Remove for the license and node you want.
The Remove License dialog identifies the MIMIX installation libraries that use the selected license for the host node, the system definitions (configured nodes) in those installation libraries, and any of your configured Assure UI portal instances which connect to the installation libraries. Each library listed contains a product or feature that may stop working when the license is removed. You may also need to remove licenses or update licenses on the other nodes in the instances listed.
When you are ready to remove the license, click OK.
