These instructions will add or update licenses on a single node. The node does not need to be currently listed in the License Summary window. This action may be necessary when setting up a new product installation when license keys were not applied during the software installation process.
Do the following from the Home page:
Select License Summary from the global action menu from the Portal Connections portlet.
From the License Summary window, select Add License to Node from the global action menu.
A wizard opens, prompting you to select a product and a portal connection. Make your selections, then click Next.
The product list includes only products that support portal license management through portal applications deployed on the Assure UI server.
The portal connection list includes only configured portal connections to nodes on which the selected product is installed.
If you are prompted to log in to a node, provide a password for the ID specified in the portal connection.
The Options panel prompts you to either get keys from Precisely or use existing keys and identify a location where the license key package (LKP) exists. Make your selection, then click Next.
The Summary panel lists the licenses from the LKP that were applied to the node. Click Finish.
