When the Assure UI server is installed on an IBM i system, the Precisely Licensed Program (LPP) 7VSI001 *BASE and option 13 are also installed into library VSI001LIB on that system if they are not already present. Installation processes that install a Precisely product on an IBM i system also install a product-specific option of the LPP in the same location.
Regardless of whether you choose to run the Assure UI server on an IBM i or a Windows platform, the Precisely LPP *BASE and product-specific option are required on IBM i systems of the product instances to which the Assure UI portal connects via portal applications.
