The process of getting the Assure UI portal ready to use is straightforward. Initially, an administrator for Precisely products will perform the following actions:
Install the Assure UI server and product portal applications. Multiple choices for installing are supported.
Make the portal applications available to the Assure UI server. For most install choices, this occurs automatically.
Start the Assure UI server. Default values for choices in the installation wizard may have already started the server.
Once the server is running, each user will need to perform the following actions:
Log in to the Assure UI portal.
Configure any additional portal connections needed. When running the Assure UI server on an IBM i server, a default portal connection is created for you.
Configure instances for the products and environments, such as multiple instances of MIMIX, that you want to manage with the Assure UI portal.
