Portal applications for each product must be at a compatible version with the Assure Unified Interface. On any supported Assure UI server platform, the first time you upgrade a product portal application that requires version 10.0 of the Assure Unified Interface, you must also upgrade portal applications for any other products in order for them to function properly.
Depending on the method you choose, additional action when installing may be required in order to meet the compatibility of supported product portal applications. Using a wizard to install is highly recommended.
If you currently are using Assure Unified Interface 3.1 on a Windows platform with portal applications for multiple products (MIMIX for AIX and either MIMIX or iOptimize), be aware that you may need to maintain two separate Assure UI servers until you have upgraded all products with portal applications to levels that are compatible with Assure Unified Interface version 10.0. The MIMIX for AIX 5.1 and 5.2 portal applications are not compatible with Assure Unified Interface version 10.0 and will not function if its Assure UI server is upgraded to version 10.0.
