Configuring the IBM Flex System Event Log portlet - assure_mimix - Latest

The IBM Flex System Event Log portlet is only available on custom portal pages in My Folder. To use this portlet, do the following:

1. Add the IBM Flex System Event Log portlet to a page in My Folder.

   1. Select My Folder in the navigation area, then select the page where you want to add the portlet.

   2. Click the Edit icon  in the top right corner of the page. The Page/Folder Customizer fields appears.

   3. Click the Add Portlet button. The Portlet Selector displays.

   4. Select Assure UI Portal, then locate the IBM Flex System Event Log portlet. Click the Add link at the lower left of the portlet description. Clicking more than once will add multiple copies of the portlet.

   5. Click the green arrow at the top of the page.

   6. Click the View icon in the top right corner of the page.

2. Identify the server to which you want the portlet to connect.

   1. Click the Edit icon  in the top right corner of the IBM Flex System Event Log portlet.

   2. Specify a valid IP or host name for the IBM Flex System address.

   3. Specify the port for remote connection to the server.

   4. Click Save.

3. Identify the resource group for which to display events.

   1. Click Log In. Specify your log in credentials in the Log In dialog.
   2. Select the group for which you want to display events.
   3. Click Save.
