A portlet can only be moved within its current layout. Moving a portlet from one layout area to another layout requires that you remove the portlet from one layout and add it to the desired layout.
When multiple portlets are embedded in the same layout, you can rearrange them relative to each other in these ways:
A portlet can be moved up or down.
When a portlet resides within a multi-column layout you can move it left or right.
To move a portlet, do the following:
Select My Folder in the navigation area.
Click the Edit icon
in the top right corner of the page.Click the appropriate arrow,
, near the upper left
corner of the portlet that points in the direction you want to move the
portlet.To return to normal mode, click the View icon
in the top
right corner of the page.
