You can remove an instance that you no longer need. When an instance is removed, you can no longer access its product from the Assure UI portal, but the product identified in the instance remains operational from its installation library. Any other configured instance to the same product is not affected.
Instances that are shared among a group can only be removed by the group owner when all group members are logged out of the portal.
To remove an instance, do the following:
Select the Home folder in the navigation area.
Locate the Instances portlet on the Home page.
Note: If a portlet on this page has been maximized, you may need to restore it to its normal state to see this portlet.Select the Remove action for the instance you want.
The Remove Instance dialog appears and identifies the name of the instance to be removed. To remove the instance, click Remove.
