You must have a valid user ID and password for the platform on which the Assure UI server is installed. Do the following:

  1. Enter the following URL in your web browser:

    http://server:port

    The server is the IP address or host name for the node on which the Assure UI server is installed and active. The default port number is 8410. Check with your administrator for Precisely products to confirm what port number to use and whether you need to use a secure connection. If the server port has been secured use:https://server:port 

    Note: Note:When using HTTPS, your browser may warn you of an untrusted certificate. If this occurs, choose the option that allows you to continue.

  2. The portal appears showing the Log In page. Log in using your user ID and password for the platform on which the Assure UI server is installed. Depending on the platform, the user ID and password may be case-sensitive.

After you have logged in, the portal opens to the Home page. When the Assure UI server is installed on an IBM i server, a default portal connection was created for the node on which you logged in.
