Logging in as administrator - assure_mimix - Latest

The Assure Unified Interface is shipped with an administrator user ID and default password. To use administrator functions, first do the following:

1. Enter the following URL in your web browser:

   http://server:port

   The server is the IP address or host name for the node on which the Assure UI server is installed. The default port number is 8410.

   If the server port has been changed to use HTTPS protocol, use: https://server:port 

   Note: Note:When using HTTPS, your browser may warn you of an untrusted certificate. If this occurs, choose the option that allows you to continue.

2. The portal appears showing the Log In page. Log in using the administrator user ID and password.

The shipped user ID and password is: vspadmin.

After you have logged in, the portal opens to the Administration page in the Home folder. You can change the password for the administrator user ID any time from the Change Password portlet. The administrator user ID does not have access to any other folders or pages and cannot create product instances.
