Use this procedure to delete a user from the Assure UI portal. Any instances, portal connections, and subscriptions configured by the user, and any saved user preferences are also deleted. If the user owns a group or a subscription to a shared instance, this procedure will prompt you to assign ownership to another Assure UI user in the group.
The user is also removed as a member from all groups and removed as a subscriber from all subscriptions.
The user to be deleted must be logged out when you do the following:
Log in using the administrator user ID (vspadmin).
In the Users portlet on the Administration page, select the Delete action for the user you want.
The Delete User dialog opens. If the selected user owns one or more groups or subscriptions, do the following:
a.In the New owner field, select a user to be the new owner for all of the listed groups owned by the user being deleted.
b.In the Subscriptions field, select what to do with any subscriptions the user created for shared instances.
Click OK.
