These instructions change the authority a user has to the Assure UI portal interfaces and actions. As Assure UI administrator, you can change authority for a user to a different level or prevent a user from logging in to Assure UI portal.

Do the following:

  1. Log in using the administrator user ID (vspadmin).

  2. In the Users portlet on the Administration page, the log in status and current authority for each user is displayed. You can change authority for users who are not logged in. Select the Details action for the user you want.

  3. In the User Details dialog, select the value you want for the Authority field.

    Note: Note:If the selected value is more restrictive and the user owns a group, you will need to change the group owner in the Groups portlet before you can change the authority.
  4. Click OK.
