Custom reports can be edited. For Template reports, you can view the report details, but you cannot edit them.

To access the report details of a Template report, select the vertical ellipsis , and click Details or click on the report name.The Report Details window appears with all the information releated to the report. For a Custom report, click Edit.The Edit Report window opens.

Report Details

Provides the basic information in the General tab, and conditions, path related information in the Selection Criteria tab.

General: Displays the following field informartion:
  • Report - The report name. This field can be edited in a Custom report.
  • Type - The report type (Custom or Template).
  • Description - The report description. This field can be edited in a Custom report.
  • Category - The category of the report.
  • Type of data - The type of data in the report.
  • Data source - The data source of the report.
  • Output type - The output type of the report.
  • Destination - The destination to which the report results are sent. To edit this field in a Custom report:
    1. Click the Edit icon to open the Change Destination dialog.
    2. Select the destination and click Select.
  • Last run result - The result of the last run of the report. For failed runs, the reason for the failure is also displayed.
  • Last run job ID - The job ID of the last run of the report.
  • Last run - The date and time of the last run of the report.
  • Last run by - The name of the user who ran the last run of the report.
  • Last updated - The date and time when the report was last updated.
  • Last updated by - The name of the user who last updated the report.
Selection Criteria: Displays the following field information:
  • Conditions - The conditions entered at the field level to refine the selection of journal entries more precisely.
  • Objects and Path Names - The category of the report, the operation code and the object or path name.
  • Fields Shown in Report Result - The list of fields displayed in the report results.
