The following are the licensing improvements that have been made:- Several products, including Assure Security, now auto-apply the License Key Package (LKP) from a specified location when the license check fails (serial number, expired, product version, etc.) and retry the license key check.
The file name of the LKP for Assure Security is
SE_KEYSTOAUTOAPY.LKP, and it will be located in the directory /VISIONSOLUTIONS/LICENSEKEYS/SECOPS. The result of this improvement is that this feature will allow you to save and restore Assure Security to a different system without any interruptions, and allow time to obtain a new set of keys.
Note: The license keys allow a 7-day grace period for moving LPARs to unknown serial numbers.
