The method of configuring Assure Multi-Factor Authentication rules to send push notifications to users has been changed.

The *NOTIFY action has been added as an option for the Action field on the rule definition page for interactive and batch type jobs. Existing rules that send push notifications will be updated with the following field values:
Field Old Value New Value
Action *DSPF or *LISTENER *NOTIFY
Present Passcode *HIDE *NO
Factor PUSH or other non-blank value PUSH or other non-blank value
Note: When *NOTIFY is specified as the action, the Present Passcode field is automatically set to *NO and cannot be changed.

If you have not implemented push notifications yet, then no changes to existing rules are required.

The template rules X_RAMISGN3 (for Interactive jobs) and X_MFASGN4 (for batch jobs) were added. These rules can be copied to create new rules for push notifications. It is recommended to define separate rules for interactive and batch type jobs.

For details on Assure MFA rules, refer to the Assure Multi-Factor Authentication User Guide.
