Previously one document, called the Assure Security Readme, included release notes about the service pack as well as instructions for both wizard and 5250-based processes for installing and upgrading software. For version 7.0, this information is now split into the following documents:
  • Assure Security Installation (Wizard) Guide

    Includes all requirements for and instructions to install or upgrade Assure Security using the Assure Security Installation wizard.

  • Assure Security Installation (Manual) Guide

    Includes all requirements for and instructions to install or upgrade Assure Security using a stream file (STMF) and commands from the 5250 user interface.

  • Assure Security Release Notes (this document)

    Includes information specific to the current service pack. This document can include summaries of significant enhancements, instructions that may need to be performed before or after updating to the software included in the service pack, and a list of fixes included in the service pack.
