Upgrades

Upgrades to the current version 7.0 software service pack level are supported from:
  • An instance of Assure Security that is at an earlier version 7.0 service pack level than what is included in the installation media.
  • Any version 6.0 instance of Assure Security, from 6.0.01.00 or higher.
Note: There is no direct upgrade path from the legacy Cilasoft Security Suite to Assure Security 7.0. You will need to first upgrade from Cilasoft 5.33.T (or higher) to Assure Security 6.0.29.00 and then upgrade to version 7.0.

Each service pack includes and supersedes all previous service packs for the same version.

Migrations

An installation of the following legacy Alliance products can be migrated directly to Assure Security 7.0.

  • Alliance FTP Manager 7.6
  • Alliance FTP Security 1.61
  • Alliance AES/400 6.86

You must first install a new installation of Assure Security 7.0 and apply license keys for the equivalent licensed features. Then you can migrate the configuration from the Alliance product libraries into the instance of Assure Security. See Migrating Instances to Assure Security.
