Files monitored by Assure Db2 Data Monitor can be moved to the target system when the Assure Security library is moved. Moving monitored files when the Assure Security library is moved will retain monitoring of the files after the Assure Security library and files are restored on the target system. If files monitored by Assure Db2 Data Monitor already exist on the target system, their monitored status in Assure Db2 Data Monitor will need to be changed to inactive and then re-activated again. This can be done from the Assure Db2 Data Monitor menu or by using the CHGQDPMN command.

If the files monitored by Assure Db2 Data Monitor are configured to write events to a journal, recreate the journal and receivers on the target system. Alternatively, save the journal and its receivers on the source system and then restore them to the target system.
