You need to use this wizard on a PC from which you plan to do any of the following:
  • Use the Assure Security Console to access licensed features of the Assure Security product that are installed on an IBM i server. The console supports access to the following licensed features:
    • Assure Monitoring and Reporting
    • Assure System Access Manager
    • Assure Elevated Authority Manager
    • Assure Core Distribution Services
  • Use the Pop Up tool to receive messages on the PC from the Assure Monitoring and Reporting and Assure System Access Manager licensed features.
  • Use the Syslog tool to use the PC as a SYSLOG server to receive and access syslog messages from Assure Security’s Syslog Event Logger on the IBM i sever.
