Before running this wizard, ensure that your environment meets these minimum requirements.
  • To run successfully, the Assure Security Console requires the OLE DB provider available with either IBM i Access Client Solutions or IBM i Access for Windows. Before running this installation wizard, it is strongly recommended that you ensure that the most recent version of the Windows components of the IBM i product you use are installed on the PC where you plan to install the console.
  • The PC must be running one of the following versions of the Windows operating system: Windows®10, Windows Server®2012 R2, Windows Server®2016, or Windows Server® 2019.
  • The user who runs this wizard must have administrator privileges for the system on which it is run.
  • 256 MB free RAM for wizard operation
  • Adobe® Acrobat® Reader must be available to view included PDFs.

To improve performance of the wizard, close other applications before starting the wizard.
