Assure MIMIX Promoter is a set of commands included within Assure MIMIX Enterprise. These commands provide additional capability for continuous operations management. Assure MIMIX Promoter nearly eliminates the offline, non-production time required to reorganize files and to promote new applications. You can use Assure MIMIX Promoter to copy or reorganize critical database files while the files are in active production. Assure MIMIX Promoter uses the Copy Active File (CPYACTF) and Reorganize Active File (RGZACTF) commands to copy and reorganize your database files. Assure MIMIX Promoter also monitors the activity on the production files while the copy or reorganize operation is occurring and applies those changes so that all files are synchronized and up to date. The down time is reduced to only the time it takes to replace the production file with the new updated file.

Additionally, Assure MIMIX Promoter provides functions that enable you to control a group of Assure MIMIX Promoter jobs and track the progress of those jobs. Assure MIMIX Promoter can be used on a single system or between two systems with or without the use of any other MIMIX product.
