The Copy Active File (CPYACTF) command is the principal function within Assure MIMIX Promoter. The Reorganize Active File (RGZACTF) command uses the CPYACTF command to perform its operations. Both commands can be used interactively or submitted for batch processing.
Each Assure MIMIX Promoter request to copy or reorganize a file automatically starts two operating system jobs. These jobs are submitted using the job description specified on the command. If you use the default job description, a multi-threaded job runs under the MIMIXSBS subsystem.
