Status of processes that run at the system level can be viewed from the Work with Systems display.

Do one of the following:

From MIMIX Intermediate Main Menu, select option
2
(Work with Systems) and press Enter. -
From the Work with Application Groups display, use option
12
(Node entries). On the resulting Work with Node Entries display, press F7 (Systems).
The Work with Systems display appears, showing the local system at the top of the list.

Check the status values displayed.

If one or more processes are *UNKNOWN, use Verifying all communications links.

If one or more processes are *INACTIVE, use option
9
(Start) to start them on a system. Any processes that are not active on the system are preselected on the resulting Start MIMIX Managers display.Note: Except cluster services. To start cluster services, Assure MIMIX for PowerHA users must specify *YES for the Start cluster services prompt. -
The expected status values for normal operation in a two-system environment are shown below. If the values are not as expected, additional investigation is needed.
Expected Status Values:
System Managers - *ACTIVE.Investigate error statuses of *ACTREQ and *INACTRJ using Resolving system manager problems and backlogs.
Target Journal Inspection
For a system that is currently the target system for replication, the expected status is *ACTIVE.For other systems, the expected status is *NOTTGT.Investigate any other status using Displaying status of target journal inspection.
Collector Services - *ACTIVE.
Cluster Services
For most environments, the expected status is *NONE.
In environments licensed for Assure MIMIX for PowerHA the expected status for a system that participates in an IBM i cluster is *ACTIVE.
Procedure Status - *COMP or *NONE.
Investigate any other status value, see Displaying status of procedures.
