The protection levels shown in a data protection report reflect the configuration entries and the journal-centric settings in related data groups for the objects found on the system at the time the report ran.

When you use the options from the Work with Data Protection Report (WRKDPR) panel that change the configuration or the journaling of the object, then you need to rerun the DPR procedures to generate new DPR reports with new protection levels and configuration information.

A report will not show any indication of configuration changes or resulting protection level changes that are the result of configuration entry or journal-centric configuration changes made from other locations within the Assure UI portal or from the native user interface until the report runs again.

If an instance has one or more data groups configured to allow replication from an IASP source or to an IASP that is the target system of a switchable data group, reports will include libraries and directories located in those IASPs if the IASPs are varied on when the reports run.

When MIMIX is used in an environment that supports IBM Db2 Mirror for i, reports do not evaluate or indicate whether data is configured for replication by IBM Db2 Mirror for i.

When you use the Ignore option for an object, the action affects the object and all its contents. For directories and folders, the action affects all subdirectories or subfolders.
