System ASP threshold warning policies are available to limit MIMIX from contributing to the percentage of storage used by the system auxiliary storage pool (ASP 1) when ASP 1 on the system is already constrained. Click these links to see the policy descriptions:
To change the value of these threshold policies, do the following:
From the command line type
SETMMXPCY
and press F4 (Prompt).Verify that the value

is specified for the Data group definition prompt:Press Enter to see all the policies and their current values.
Press Page Down multiple times to locate the System ASP threshold warnings prompts. The current values are displayed in the prompts.
To change the threshold at which to delay data recoveries, specify a number indicating the percent of ASP 1 storage in the Delay data recoveries prompt.
Note: The value *NONE will disable the threshold and allow MIMIX to always process recoveries for member data. This is not recommended.To change the threshold at which to indicate there are extra journal receivers, specify a number indicating the percent of ASP 1 storage in the Delete-eligible jrn. receivers prompt.
Note: The value *NONE will disable the threshold and prevent MIMIX from warning that extra receivers exist when the threshold is exceeded. This is not recommended.To accept the changes, press Enter.
