These instructions enable a data group by changing its state from DISABLED to *INACTIVE. System manager processes for the data group must be active when you perform these instructions.
To enable an individual data group, do the following:

On a command line, type CHGDG and press Enter.
The Change Data Group display appears.

At the Data group definition prompts, fill in the values you want or press
F4for a valid list. -
At the State prompt, specify
*ENABLE. -
Press Enter to confirm your changes.
Note: To start an enabled data group, you must specify *YES for the Clear pending entries
prompt on the Start Data Group (STRDG) command. See Starting selected data
group processes.
