Changing the logon message during a switch - assure_mimix - 10.0

If you want to change the message displayed during the switching operation, use the Change Switch Definition (CHGSWTDFN) command to change the text of the logon message. If you want inform users at various points during the switch process, use the CHGSWTDFN command multiple times.

The following table shows an example of what you might include in your event program to inform users of the status of a switching operation. This example shows a partial event program that controls switching the direction of replication in MIMIX. In this example, the switch definition name is CRITDATA.
