The wizard can fail on some supported versions of Windows because the user does not have the needed privileges. Your User Account Control (UAC) settings may not provide administrative privileges even though you belong to the Administrators group. For new installs, a failure can occur in the Installing panel. For upgrades or re-installs, a failure can occur on the Shutdown panel.
If you encounter this problem, close the wizard. Then right-click the wizard executable (.exe) and click Run as administrator. For more information, see the Assure Unified Interface User’s Guide.
