For database replication and replication of objects through Advanced Journaling support, data to be replicated and the journal used for its replication must exist in the same ASP. When you configure replication for independent ASP, consider what data you store there and the location of the journal and journal receivers needed to replicate the data.
With independent ASPs, you have the option of placing journal receivers in an associated secondary independent ASP. When you create an independent ASP, an ASP group is automatically created that uses the same name you gave the primary independent ASP.
