This option requires you to manually change the MIMIXOWN user profile password and adds server authentication entries to recognize the MIMIXOWN user profile. MIMIX must be installed and transfer definitions must exist before you can make these changes.
Note: The MIMIXOWN user profile is automatically created with a password when MIMIX is
installed. You should not need to do these steps unless you are having authority issues
when building or starting RJ links.
Use the License Manager command CHGMMXPRF to change the MIMIXOWN user profile.
Do the following from each system in your MIMIX installation:
-
Use the CHGMMXPRF command to change the MIMIXOWN password and update existing authentication entries for MIMIXOWN. Enter the following command:
LAKEVIEW/CHGMMXPRF PASSWORD(user-defined-password)
Note: The password is case sensitive and must be the same on all systems in the MIMIX network. If the password does not match on all systems, some MIMIX functions will fail with security error message LVE0127 when the system manager is started. -
Be sure to repeat this procedure on all nodes where MIMIX is installed.
