Changing journal receiver size options - assure_mimix - 10.0

To change the journal receiver size, do the following on the *MGT system:

1. Enter the command installation-library/WRKJRNDFN.

2. Next to the journal definition for the system you want to change, type a 2 (Change).

3. Press F10 to display additional parameters on the Change Journal Definition (CHGJRNDFN) display.

4. At the Receiver size option prompt, specify a value that indicates support for large journal entries, such as *MAXOPT2 or *MAXOPT3. Press Enter.

   Note: Make sure the other systems in your environment are compatible in size. For more information, see Changing the journaling environment to use *MAXOPT3.

5. Build the journal environment specifying *JRNDFN for the Source for values parameter.

   1. From the Work with Journal Definitions display, type 14 (Build) next to the journal definition you want to build and press F4.
   2. Change the Source for values parameter value to *JRNDFN.
   3. Press Enter.
