When you create a system definition, MIMIX also automatically creates a journal definition named MXCFGJRN for that system. This journal definition and its associated journaling environment are required for internal use by MIMIX. (The MXCFGJRN journal is created when MIMIX software is installed.)
The journal definitions, remote journal (RJ) links, and journaling environments created by system manager processes are required for internal use by MIMIX. Each journal definition for the source system of a system manager RJ link is named MXSYSMGR. Each journal definition for the target system of a system manager RJ links is named MXSYS_nn where nn is the remote journal ID (RJ ID) of its source system.
These internal journal definitions and their associated journaling environments should not be used for other purposes and cannot be deleted.
Journal definitions for internal use by MIMIX are not shown in the default view of the Work with Journal Definitions display (WRKJRNDFN command). However, you can access them when needed by subsetting.
