The Check MIMIX Receiver (CHKMMXRCV) command checks whether MIMIX has completed processing the data in the specified receiver and if the receiver meets all other criteria for deletion based on the MIMIX journal definition.
Specify the name and library of the journal receiver to check. If MIMIX has completed processing the specified receiver and the other criteria are met, the receiver is eligible to be deleted and the command completes successfully. Messages are issued for each reason that the receiver is not eligible to be deleted. The CHKMMXRCV command does not actually delete the receiver if it no longer being used by MIMIX.
The command can be added to a delete journal receiver exit program (QIBM_QJO_DLT_JRNRCV) or inserted into any customer program that deletes receivers or checks if receivers are ready for deletion.
