Changes to the delivery and sending task priority take effect only after the remote journal link has been ended and restarted.
To change characteristics of the link between source and target journal definitions, do the following:

Before you change a remote journal link, end activity for the link. The Assure MIMIX Operations book describes how to end only the RJ link.

If you plan to change the primary transfer definition or secondary transfer definition to a definition that uses a different RDB directory entry, you also need to remove the existing connection between objects. Use topic Removing a remote journaling environment before changing the remote journal link.

Before making changes, review the naming convention requirements for a remote journaling environment. Some changes may require changing additional journal definitions. See Journal definition naming conventions.

From the Work with RJ Links display, type a

(Change) next to the entry you want and press Enter. -
The Change Remote Journal Link (CHGRJLNK) display appears. Specify the values you want for the following prompts:

Delivery

Sending task priority

When you are ready to accept the changes, press Enter.

To make the changes effective, do the following:
- If you removed the RJ connection in Step 1, you need to use topic Building the journaling environment.
- Start the data group which uses the RJ link.
