If any access path maintenance errors exist when a data group (or the database apply process) ends, MIMIX attempts to recover any access path maintenance errors the next time the data group (or database apply process) is started.
If these attempts fail during start operations, MIMIX will attempt to change the maintenance attribute to *IMMED the next time the data group (or the database apply process) ends.
If errors exist for a physical file and associated logical files, the physical files are addressed first.
For persistent access path maintenance errors, you can also manually retry changing the MAINT attribute using option 40 from the Work with DG File Entries display or the Retry Access Path Maint. Files (RTYAPMNT) command.
