Specifying the primary node for the application group - assure_mimix - 10.0

Use this topic to specify the correct primary node when you are configuring and have associated existing data groups to an application group by using Loading data resource groups into an application group.

Do the following:

1. From the MIMIX Basic Main Menu, type 1 (Work with application groups) and press Enter.

2. The Work with Application Groups display appears. Type 12 (Node entries) next to the application group you want and press Enter.

3. The Work with Node Entries display appears. Press F10 to toggle between configured view and status view.

   Note: While configuring, the status view of this display will show the Current Role and Data Provider with values of *UNDEFINED until the application group is started.

4. From the configured view, type 2 (Change) next to the node that you want to be the primary node and press Enter.

5. The Change Node Entry (CHGNODE) command appears. Specify *PRIMARY at the Role prompt.

6. Press Enter.
