When configuring a new MIMIX environment that uses application groups, you must add a data resource group entry (a resource group) to the application group. If you have only one application group configured, the resource group is automatically configured when you create a data group. If you have more than one application group, you may need to manually add a resource group.
Do the following:

From the MIMIX Basic Main Menu, type
1(Work with application groups) and press Enter. -
The Work with Application Groups display appears. Type
13(Data resource groups) next to the application group you want and press Enter. -
The Work with Data Rsc. Grp. Ent. display appears. Type
1(Add) in the blank at the top of the Opt column, type a name in the blank at the top of the Resource Group column, and press Enter. -
The Add Data Resource Group Entry (ADDDTARGE) display appears. Do the following:
- Verify that *DTA is specified for the Resource group type prompt, then press Enter.
- Additional prompts appear on the display. Press Enter.
