In some situations, members differ in the number of records allocated. One member may have allocated records, while the corresponding records of the other member are not yet allocated. If the member to be repaired is the smaller of the two members, records are added to make the members the same size.
If the member to be repaired is the larger of the two members, however, the excess records are deleted. When MIMIX replication encounters these situations, no error is generated nor is the member placed on error hold.
If one or more members differ in the manner described above, a distinct escape message is issued. If you use CMPFILDTA in a CL program, you may wish to monitor these escape messages specifically.
