Use the change selector in Connect CDC MonCon
When the kernel receives a command to start a request or to enable or disable capture for a request or table, the kernel checks the status of the Change Selectors and starts them if necessary, without user intervention. The kernel constantly monitors the state of the Change Selectors and notifies Connect CDC MonCon of any change in their status, without requiring that you explicitly refresh the status.
Work with a Change Selector by choosing View>Process menu in Connect CDC MonCon. The menu choices change when you select a Process. These options do not exist if you do not use DB2.
Manually start or stop the Change Selector from the Process menu of Connect CDC MonCon. These options are not present if your model does not have a DB2 server.
