  • Precisely has only certified support for TPT version 14.10.14.

  • TPT is supported on Windows and UNIX.

  • Large objects (LOB) are not supported.

  • The order that row operations occurred in the source transaction will not necessarily be preserved on the target. The order in which they occurred within any mapped table will be preserved.

  • Restrictions that apply to requests that replicate to file systems also apply, see the Advanced User Guide.

  • All updates are handled as deletes followed by inserts. This is to avoid potential issues with the primary index and to simplify the TPT scripts.

  • Updates will use all the values of the before and after image of the mapped columns because of limitations in the TPT scripting language.

  • Not allowed as part of a Synchronization request.

  • Create table privileges are required by the replicating user.

  • You must manually clean up log files generated by the TPT script jobs.
