To start your request:

  1. Select the request name in the Data Movement Requests tree.

    • To select multiple requests, hold down the Ctrl key and select the names.

    • To expand or collapse the tree, click the plus or minus sign at the beginning of the branch or click the respective buttons:

    • To select all the requests under a branch, click the top of the branch.

    Note that:

    • A Copy requests are marked with.

    • A Replication request are marked with.

    • A Synchronization request are marked with

  2. Right-click to bring up the context menu, then, depending on the number of requests you selected, select Start, Start Selected, or Start All from the context menu.

    Connect CDC MonCon sends a start command to Connect CDC Listener on the source host.

  3. Check for problems during request processing in the Alert Message tab:

  4. Click Request>Refresh Statistics and expand the display to see the report for your model and request. You can see values for the transaction rows retrieved and sent from the source and the rows applied at the target.

    Statistics refer to requests; they do not have a process context.

  5. Look for messages indicating successful completion in the Alert Messages area.

  6. To configure the number of alert messages that are displayed:

    1. From the menu, select Tools.

    2. Select Configure Alerts.

    3. Set the desired number of alerts:

The number of alerts must be at least 50. If it is set to less than 50, you receive an error message.
