Each Connect CDC product is shipped with default values for handling product messaging. Do the following to display or change message-handling defaults for a product

On the License Manager main menu, press Page Down to see the second display.

Select option 31 (Change License Manager Messaging).

Press Enter.
The Change License Mgr Messaging (CHGLMMSG) screen displays.

Specify the value you want for the Product prompt.

Press Enter.
The Change License Manager Messaging displays with the current settings for all libraries that contain this product.

Change the default values for all libraries containing the specified product.

For the Enable message handling prompt, specify whether to send warning messages to the specified message queues when the access code is about to expire.

For the Enable on new access code prompt, specify whether to enable message handling when the access code is updated.

Specify the number of days before expiration to begin sending warning messages in the Days before expiration prompt.

Specify the name and library of the primary message queue to which to send warning messages.

Specify the name and library of the secondary message queue to which to send messages. If you do not want to have messages sent to a secondary message queue, specify *NONE

Press Enter.
